Celtic Connections, Collectors’ Corner, and Sunday Schedule Changes

We’re making a handful of changes to our Sunday programming schedule. First, the final episode of Celtic Connections aired on WWCF at the end of last year. Host Dr. Bryan Kelso Crow passed away last September and the show was brought to an end after 25 years celebrating Celtic music. You can read more about Dr. Crow’s legacy on WSIU’s website at wsiu.org/celticconnections.

Regarding the rest of our Sunday programming, we are ending our broadcast of Henry Fogel’s long-running eclectic series Collectors’ Corner, which previously aired from 6-8 pm. Many thanks to Henry Fogel and the WFMT radio network for their support of WWCF. Collectors’ Corner will be replaced by our own mix of folk and rock programming, extending our signature sound into the later hours of Sunday evening. WWCF will transition to classical music and relaxing end-of-the-week programming around 8pm.

WWCF’s schedule evolves as we continue to select new programs that we feel will be a compliment to our broadcast mission. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us.
